Committee Approves Rs. 600 Million Budget for Ignite

Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja chaired the 45th R&D fund policy Committee meeting on Monday.

The committee approved a Rs 599.29 million budget release for ignite company for the 2nd Quarter of FY 2024-2025.

Secretary IT Zarrar Hasham Khan and Special Secretary IT and Telecom Division Azfar Manzoor were also present in the meeting.

Min of State IT and Telecommunication, Ms Shaza Fatima Khawaja Directed the Ignite Management to keep on working ignite projects of small time so that these might be accomplished in the prescribed time. She said that every project must have time, and so it should be completed within the time. 

State Minister for IT Shaza Fatima has directed the ignite management to host an e-sports competition over the games developed by the locals.

Earlier, the head was informed of the ongoing and future projects by the earlier authorities of ignite. The committee also affirmed the minutes of the 44th R&D Fund Policy Committee meeting.
